Mountain mists combine with the clouds and glistening waterfalls glint in the sunshine, cascading like diamonds towards the valleys below. This is no place for mundane cares, lose yourself to nature’s magic and wonder.

Lau Chau is blessed with mystical mountains, beautiful rivers and streams, tumbling waterfalls, hot-springs and mysterious caves.  Its hidden valleys, nestled between the mountains are home to traditional local villages.

The uniqueness of this province lies not just in its natural beauty but in the fact that it is largely undeveloped. It is a rare chance to explore a land and people still unaffected by modern ways.

Take a boat along the blue Nam Mu River to experience dramatic scenery, swim or fish from its banks and stay overnight at sleepy villages along the way.

This region is largely untouched by modern life and provides a unique glimpse into local culture and the chance to be a part of the communal warmth that signifies the northern highlands.
